Next week, the Saylor Foundation is heading to Park City, Utah for the 2011 Open Education Conference. This will be our first time attending the conference and we look forward to several exciting presentations, like keynote speakers Martha Kanter, Under Secretary of Education and Jim Shelton, Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement.  We’re also excited to catch up with our friends and colleagues from the Open Education community and to learn what each organization has planned for the months and years to come.

One particularly notable event will occur on Tuesday at 3pm in the Canyons Resort’s White Pine Room. At that time and place, our Director, Alana Harrington, will give a presentation entitled “Connecting the Dots”. Interested in learning more? Here’s a quick preview that will fill you in on all the details:

For those of you planning to attend the Conference, we hope you’ll stop by Alana’s presentation and say hello.

Unable to make it to this year’s event? We promise to document as much of the Conference as we can and will report back here at The Saylor Journals the following week. Please be sure to check back often for updates!
