Net Texts has launched their free “OER Textbook Replacement Courses” collection for Science, Social Studies, Math, and English.
Each of the “40 ready-to-use courses…can act as a complete textbook replacement or as a framework that teachers can supplement with their own curriculum materials” and is ideal for “1:1 computing programs, blended learning environments, flipped classrooms, and traditional classrooms looking to infuse more technology into core content areas,” according to the press release.
A number of the course materials draw from the Saylor Foundation’s growing K-12 courseware initiative as well as from Saylor University courses.
