We have placed the existing forums under a soft freeze. What that means is that we are actively encouraging the community to join and post in the new forums while we tie up loose ends and make sure that we can have a smooth final transition. In a week or two, we will prevent new registrations and new posts at the existing forums.

At the most basic, joining the new forums is as simple as visiting https://discourse.saylor.org, clicking Sign Up, and following the prompts. Nevertheless, we have created the guide below to help you begin (available here, too).

The new forums have a number of advantages over the current ones — we will produce some “cheat sheets” in the coming weeks to help everyone become power users of the new platform.
