David is one of the Saylor Foundation’s newest hires. He came aboard in February of 2012 as the Personnel and Content Development Coordinator. Along with Jennifer Shoop, David works with Saylor’s consulting professors to develop Saylor.org’s suite of free online courses.

Born and raised in Hawaii, David has been living in Washington D.C. since October of 2011. After spending time at the Universities of Colorado and Utah, he received a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2011. He has many interests, as evidenced by his varied background in archaeology, solar energy, and now education.

When he’s not dreaming about the next time he can surf or snowboard, David spends his spare time relaxing with his girlfriend and exploring their new city. He also enjoys watching or playing any sort of sport, as well a nice cardigan.
