Jeff came to the Saylor Foundation in the summer of 2011. As the Strategic Initiatives Manager, Jeff worked to align open education resources with college credit opportunities and sought various partnerships while evangelizing the benefit of OER to stakeholders in academia, government and the private sector. As Director of Development, Jeff works to create partnerships to support a sustainable OER ecosystem.
He received his B.S. in Marketing from the York College of Pennsylvania, and his J.D. from the Temple University of Law. He brought many years of experience to Saylor.org, including work as a business development and strategic marketing consultant and as a practicing lawyer working on commercial contracts implicating intellectual property rights.
When he’s not working on open education and Saylor.org initiatives, Jeff works part-time as the supervising producer for the “Sun Studio Sessions” television show which has aired on 250+ PBS affiliate stations across the U.S. He also likes to spend as much time as possible with his labrador retriever.
