October is Connected Educator Month!

Connected Educators, a project of the Office of Educational Technology of the U.S. Department of Education, started Connected Educator Month in August 2012 to help educators, school districts, and educational organizations connect and celebrate EdTech.

This year’s run, moved to October, already includes over 400 events (online and free) to help teachers and districts share best practices and incorporate social and online learning into effective teaching. Educators and organizations can add events to the calendar and participate in any offerings.

Participants can also earn digital badges in  for taking part in many of the events.

While we’re not sponsoring events, we are taking this opportunity to celebrate teaching, blended learning, and EdTech, and hope you will do the same.
