Happy New Year!

Happy New Year — and thank you for helping Saylor Academy achieve an amazing 2015!

Because of you and all of our students, partners, and friends in our community, we have accomplished so much. We achieved 6 additional courses recommended for 18 college credits, bringing our total college credit offering to 17 courses for 52 credits; we are a course provider to the newly-launched and promising Alternative Credit Project; we have grown our student community by 50%; and we have made many “under the hood” tweaks, adding new mini-assessments, additional open educational resources, additional video content, and both new and improved final exams from a number of courses.

What can we accomplish together in 2016?

Experts tell us that one of the best things you can do to support your learning is to set specific goals…and one of the best ways to stick with your goals is to share them with others! What are your New Year’s learning resolutions? If you’re on Twitter (we’re @saylordotorg), let us know your learning goals for 2016 with the hashtag #SaylorResolution.

Of course, get in touch any time to ask questions, share ideas, offer feedback, and find out more about what Saylor Academy’s open online courses can do for you.

We look forward to hearing from you, and once again, a very happy new year from the Saylor Academy team: Chanel, David, Devon, John, Jeff, Mike, Nate, Sean, Tanner, Tom, and Xin.

P.S. Help us get off to a great start in 2016 by telling a friend, family member, colleague, or total stranger about Saylor Academy. Never underestimate the power of your good recommendation!
