Saylor Academy is pleased to announce a new partnership with Wesley Housing Development Corporation (Wesley Housing) in Alexandria, Virginia.

Wesley Housing develops, owns, and operates affordable housing for low-and-moderate-income families, senior citizens, and individuals with special needs and chronic illness in Washington, DC, and Virginia. In addition to housing, Wesley Housing also offers support services and educational programs for its more than 2,450 residents.

Wesley Housing will integrate Saylor Academy courses into their life skills and job training programs for their residents.

Our professional development courses and our college credit partnerships with leading adult learner focused colleges and universities will provide a pathway for Wesley Housing residents to earn valuable credentials at a dramatically lower cost.”


Saylor Academy is a nonprofit educational initiative, providing free, college-level, self-paced courses to learners worldwide. Saylor Academy Direct credit courses are recommended for credit by the American Council on Education® and/or the National College Credit Recommendation Service. Together with our college and university partners, we are providing students with flexible credit transfer pathways to degrees and credentials.
