PRDV005-700

Remember when people had to go to school to learn how to use a manual typewriter? Neither do we. That was a crazy long time ago. But we do remember taking classes in keyboarding. Now we think we’re soooo clever because we type with more than two fingers and only have to sneak a peek once in a while. Lessons in word processing? Who needs ’em?

Um…have you seen Microsoft® Word lately? With Word, a decent printer, and some needle and thread, you could make a book that would put Gutenberg to shame.

And while you can get by with the most basic of typing skills, if you want to put on your resume that you can handle Word — and you do want employers to believe you can handle Word — maybe you should take a few hours and make sure you’ve got the essentials covered. Just saying.

PRDV003: Word Processing Using Microsoft® Word will help you do just that, and in only about three hours. At the cost of free, and with an exam and certificate to help prove you’ve got some skills, why say no?
