We are very excited to announce that Sharon Leu, Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Education, will be a featured speaker at the Summit on the Credentialing Economy June 7-8, 2018.

Sharon leads the Office of Educational Technology’s higher education innovation initiatives to increasing access, decreasing cost, and improving outcomes for postsecondary learners, including the launch of a Higher Ed Ecosystem Challenge and Federal open licensing policy efforts. Prior to joining OET, Sharon oversaw the design and implementation of the Department of Labor’s $2B Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program, the largest federal investment in postsecondary innovation.

The Summit on the Credentialing Economy will feature workshops, panels, and insight from experts such as Sharon as we seek to create solutions addressing the lack of clarity and parity in credentialing.  Join us June 7-8, 2018, in Washington, DC, by registering at summit.saylor.org.
